Industries
Our custom inductors and transformers are in production today across power electronics, current sensing, medical devices, industrial controls, telecommunications, and defense applications. Each industry has specific requirements for core materials, tolerances, testing, and compliance. We build to those requirements.
Overview
Every unit we produce is wound, tested, and inspected before shipping. DCR measurement, inductance verification, hi-pot testing, and full dimensional inspection on every lot. The application may change. The standard stays the same.

Power Electronics
Power electronics designers need magnetic components that handle the electrical stresses of continuous operation: ripple current, core saturation margins, thermal limits, and efficiency targets. We manufacture the inductors and transformers that go into AC/DC converters, DC/DC converters, switching power supplies, and linear power supplies.
For power-frequency applications (50/60 Hz), we use grain-oriented 3% silicon-iron cores with saturation flux density of 1.6 to 2.0 Tesla. For switching applications above 20 kHz, we use ferrite cores selected for low core loss at your operating frequency. Toroidal geometry keeps radiated EMI low and efficiency high.

Current Sensing & Instrumentation
Current sensing applications demand the highest permeability cores and the most consistent winding. A current transformer (CT) measures current by sensing the magnetic field it creates. The core material determines sensitivity. The winding determines accuracy. Both must be precisely controlled.
We manufacture CTs on 1J85 permalloy cores with permeability exceeding 100,000. These cores detect small currents accurately across wide dynamic ranges. Our winding team distributes turns evenly across the full 360 degrees of the toroid for linear output and consistent coupling.
This is the work we know best. We supply NK Technologies in San Jose with current sensing toroids for their industrial power monitoring product line. Over 150,000 cores delivered. Zero rejected lots.

Medical Devices
Medical device manufacturers operate under strict regulatory requirements. Every component in the signal chain and power path must be documented, traceable, and compliant. Magnetic components in medical equipment serve two critical functions: power conversion and safety isolation.
We manufacture power supply inductors, isolation transformers, and EMI filters for medical devices. All materials are RoHS compliant. All solder is SN100 lead-free. Every lot ships with test data, certificates of conformance, and complete traceability records. Our documented quality processes support your regulatory filings and audits.
Industrial Controls
Industrial control systems operate in environments with electrical noise, temperature extremes, vibration, and continuous duty cycles. The magnetic components inside these systems must perform reliably under these conditions year after year.
We build inductors and transformers for motor drives, programmable logic controllers (PLCs), automation equipment, and power distribution systems. Silicon-iron cores handle the current levels and flux densities that industrial power circuits demand. Toroidal geometry minimizes radiated noise that could interfere with sensitive control signals nearby.

Telecommunications
Telecom infrastructure requires magnetic components that deliver consistent electrical performance across long production runs. EMI filter inductors suppress conducted emissions that would degrade signal quality. Signal transformers provide impedance matching and galvanic isolation in communication circuits.
We use ferrite cores selected for stable permeability and impedance at telecom operating frequencies. Toroidal construction keeps radiated emissions low, critical in equipment racks where dozens of systems operate in close proximity. Consistent winding tension and turn count ensure repeatable performance from unit to unit.

Defense & Aerospace
Defense and aerospace programs require magnetic components built to precise specifications with complete documentation at every step. Material certifications, process records, inspection data, and test results must be available for audit. Traceability from raw material to finished component is a baseline requirement.
We manufacture custom inductors and transformers to mil-spec and customer-defined requirements. Every lot is documented with certificates of conformance, test data, and material traceability records. Our production processes are controlled and repeatable, supporting the qualification testing that defense programs require.
